Baby Shower Bliss...

Last night our church had a baby shower for Melissa Harvey....
in honor of her new bundle of joy....

Miss Morgan Jane Harvey

Isn't she precious?!
I thought I would share with all of you the fun and joy of
the evening, as well as some yummy recipes, of course!! ;)

key lime cupcakes

yummy fresh fruit.... ;)

Erin Lavering's delectable chocolate brownies ;)

yummy savory palmiers...

Eclairs...I split them in half so they got a wee bit messy,
you can find the recipe at "All Recipes" website.

and now for
some more pics of Miss Morgan....
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward."
-Psalm 127:3

baby cuddles....aren't they the best?! ;)

And then the darling decided to go into some heavy slumbers....however,
we didn't mind! Who would mind holding a sleeping baby?
In my opinion, it's one of the best things in the world. ;)

Oh....and then there was crafts
I really liked this idea..........
all of the ladies played games and decorated these onesies!
I liked how each one came out different than the other, each was unique!
This is quite a good idea for baby showers,
because each of your guest gets to create something personal for the baby!

Oh how fun crafting is...... ;)

Happy momma with her bundle of joy ;)

Rene and Mommy pose with Morgan Jane

Hope all of you had a pleasant day
and enjoy the recipes!
Many Blessings to all of you!!! ;)

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!"

It was a delightful shower! Morgan Jane is beautiful, and she also seems to have a sweet disposition, which is a very lovely trait to have! I pray that she will never know a day without the Lord, and His saving Grace in her life!!

Miss Jen~
Looks like the shower was enjoyed by all, even little Morgan Jane.(Love the name Morgan ~ I have a little grandbaby by that name. She lives over at www.TheBrowningsGreenhouse.blogspot.com)
What a great idea to have all the ladies "create" onesies for her. I really like that idea instead of a game where a guest wins the prize. After all, we are there to celebrate the new baby and they should be the recipient of "the prize!"
Thanks for the wonderful idea!
Blessings,
Raeann

P.S.
I added your sweet award to my sidebar, but didn't send it out to anyone else. I am so far behind after my little absence.
Thank you for your sweet attitude and always a lovely post!

Miss Linda,
Yes, the key lime cupcakes are very interesting...definitely not your typical cupcake but I really enjoy them!! ;) A Blessed Valentines Day to you, as well! ;)

M.L. ,
Indeed, may Miss Morgan never go without a day of not knowing Christ! I cherished our time together at the shower. ;)

Lady Farmer,
How neat that you have a granddaughter named Morgan as well! ;) I'm glad you like the onesie idea, too. I agree we are there to celebrate and give to the new momma, not ourselves!! Oh, and I also appreciate your comment about the awards. I'm so happy you put them on your side bar. ;) You and your blog are dear to my heart.

Melissa,
You are so very welcome!!
We all did have a lovely time at the shower. ;)
