In Defense of Precious Life....

After writing my emotional post back in January about roe vs. wade,
I was saddened to see that President Obama
has pushed his pro-abortion
agenda more and more as the months have past.
Am I surprised?... No
Am I still sad? Yes....
And I know I am still called to pray for my leaders
in authority knowing that
"The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD;
He turns it wherever He wishes." -Proverbs 21:1
How glad to know that my hope lies solely in Jesus Christ and not any president or ruler in existence! Though there is sadness in my heart, I am also trusting that Christ is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28)!

But at the same time there is still much we can do to
serve and defend and proclaim....
Life!!

In the next several days....
every ones participation is vital in the cause for Life.
March 31st. marks the day when I hope you and millions
of others will slip a red envelope in the mail....

........which says something like this.....
Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos,
or at party supply stores. On the front, address it to

President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

On the back, write the following message.

This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion.
It is empty because the life that was taken is...
.....last but not least "Be Heard"

is rallying the masses into signing the most urgent petition against
forcing all pro-life doctors to perform abortions.
This is sadly something that Obama wants passed!! :(
Be sure to sign the petition here......

Though we are living in a time of uncertainty and
sometimes we are feeling a spirit of utter hopelessness,
we still are called to make a difference in the fight for life.....
Someone wisely stated....

Christ is calling His followers not to the mere theoretical opposition of injustice, but rather to the real and practical (and often painful) ministry of meeting physical needs in a dying world. The gospel life is not merely about right thinking, it is far more about right… What good is it if you say you're opposed to abortion, and yet you are not doing anything to actually help those who are dying?

It's time for Christians to stand up and
say this scripture with gladness, happiness and confidence...

"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD:

and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

-Psalm 127:3

I hope all of you are having a pleasant Friday and have a richly blessed weekend!!!

Our family is currently traveling and attending a delightfully rich Christian conference, what rich truths we are learning!! Many Blessings to everyone and I look forward to sharing with all of you pictures, and excerpts from the conference on Monday!

Thank you, for making this known. I have sent it to several people. I pray that the envelopes will cut the heart of many as they pass through, if not the president.

I am so thankful for your posts on this subject, Miss Jen. Abortion is probably the biggest moral/political battle to me. I know that sin is sin; none worse than another, but I have such a passion about fighting this one! I hope you don't mind if I refer my readers to your post tonight. And I'm joining you in prayer for each precious life involved. Bless you!

the red envelope campaign was initiated by a dear friend of mine- and I know it all too well- and sincerely hope that it makes an imapct on him (obama) and that the Holy Ghost softens his heart for the unborn....
very nice to meet you

Also, do you know exactly how old the baby with the thumb in its mouth is? I am referring to the picture you posted. I'd like to know if possible. Grazie, Aunt Teresa

I receive an e-mail regularly from Steven Ertelt apprising me of what the Obama government is doing with regard to his abortion-agenda. I am not a proponent of this. As a Catholic, I do not support it in any way.

Blessed:

thank you for such a beautiful and convicting post.

i agree with you, though i totally don't agree with the new agenda that Obama is trying to pass, pro-abortion, pro-stem cell research, and pro so many other things, i still think that even though we don't agree with Obama's policies, we should still pray for him to have God change his heart and to pray for his whole family and for their salvation & for us to respect him as a president just like it dictates in the bible :)

all we can do is pray that the Holy Spirit changes him, and makes him the speaker of Truth...he is one of the lost sheep..he (Obama) is, we just gotta pray that the Shepherd can call him back, just like the prodigal son..anything is possible with Christ, and i believe anything at all.
Maybe before we know it, God will call him back.

And thank you again for such a beautiful post, Blessed.

may i please repost your post on my blog before March 31st with your name and bloggie address on it?

please let me know soon!

Thanks for speaking up and taking a stand, i love your web site! :)

take care!
talk soon!

Blessings & HUGS!

In Christ, Jane.
