Ribbon Bookmarks...

These precious bookmarks are soooo sweet,
elegant and yet so very simple!
All that is needed is beautiful ribbons, thread,
buttons & some seed beads.
Perfect for your treasured book or Bible.....
here is how you make them in less than seconds...
well maybe 2 minutes ;)

First start by selecting your beautiful ribbon....
the possibilities are endless, you can use
velvet ribbon, woven ribbon etc...
I usually cut mine at about a half a yard (18 inches)
Fold your ribbon exactly in half and then....

On the top of your folded ribbon sew on your lovely button....
I usually like to do 2, one big and small.....
you can also if you choose to, thread a seed bead in it,
which makes it look more elegant as well. ;)

Simply cut your ends in the shape of a upside down V and whala...
You just made a very sweet and fashionable bookmark....
that I am sure you or one of your friends will heartily enjoy!
The neat thing about using them for a Bible is that you can mark 2 places at once. ;)

I hope all of you had a pleasant Friday and......
hope you have a truly blessed weekend!!

Many Blessings!!!

These are simply lovely! A wonderful idea for getting more bookmarks for yourself, but even more importantly blessing that reader in your life! It has given me a wonderful idea as what to do with the ribbon I have left from when I married..perfect!!!

May you have a blessed weekend!
