There is something so special
about receiving Homemade Gifts for Christmas.....
the thought, love and care that goes into
each treasure is inestimable.
As Christmas is fast approaching I thought
I would share with all of you some of my
"Christmas Craft Fair Items
and Gifts..."
Most of these 'gift ideas' are simple
to make~ yet elegant and very practical, indeed.
Holiday or Everyday Napkins are a
wonderful gift for any person to have...
Who wouldn't like a set of
beautiful handcrafted napkins?!
Napkins
are easy to make... simply fold,
and sew straight seams.
~Fabric Calculation~
Luncheon napkins are
usually 12" square
&
Dinner napkins can be
anywhere from 18" to 20" square.
~For a special touch~
Stitch in Gold or Silver Metallic Thread
and or....
sew with a Decorative Stitch
~Table Runners~
...are sure to set the stage for a festive feast~ indeed.
All stacked up... ;)
~Festive with a bright set
of candles~
~Pot Holders~
....Are sure to come in handy in the kitchen...
Here I simply sewed a patchwork square
and bordered it with some pretty fabric.
Double or triple your desired thickness
with batting and line on the back with
cotton, solid upholstery fabric.
And...
Last but not least....
Ribbon Bookmarks
are the perfect addition to
go with a special book gift.
Your receiver will be quite happy to have
such an elegant accessory to mark one's
treasure with.
For a special bookmark tutorial...
It is ideal for any-type of book and especially
wonderful for Bibles... considering you can
mark two spots at a time.

What beautiful delights you have created for your Christmas Craft Fair and for gifts! I have been enjoying making homemade Christmas items for several years now. I think they are better appreciated by all who receive them!
I have been making several things this year, too, but I can't tell you because Mrs. B reads this and would then find out her gifts! ;~}
I am off now to check out Emily Rose's blog.
Blessings!
I just made a couple of the bookmarks you showed. I love them (especially since I used some of my deceased grandmother's ribbon)! I plan on giving one to each of the girls in my book club as a small Christmas gift. Thanks for the idea!!!!
So Many beautiful things, Jen. Love them all! (still hoping I am one of the winners of your giveaway! :)
Oh, I'm really in the Christmas spirit now, Miss Jen! Your recipients will be delighted!
I love your beautiful bookmarks ~ would you share your source for the ribbon? You have inspired me!
P.S.
Smart thinking by that Lady Farmer! The cat is still in the bag. =)
Just Beautiful~
Thanks for sharing.
Have a wonderful day~

Hello Miss Jen! I love the ideas! I also wanted to let you know that your blog has been a great blessing to me! I've given you an award over at my blog Seasons of a Heart. Keep up the good work! May the Lord bless you :)
Beautiful gifts and as you say, handmade is always so much more special :o)
An idea....one year in a gift swap I received a square potholder similar to yours it was filled with a spice that when heated with a hot pot or cup of coffee would release a beautful scented fragrance.
